As you can see, much of the front panel was rotten,
covered by chickenwire and filler, drivers wing was
brazed on!

Inner sill and jacking point were rotted out, both were
covered over with an old aluminium number plate.
I found this out when i tryed to jack up the car.

Both inner wing tops were totally rotten as well as strut
supports underneith, this was all cut out and replaced, after measurement were taken from an original car i made a
brace up and worked from the centreline of the car to
ensure the struts sat exactly right with
 the correct
amount of castor and camber.
Here you can see the new wheel arch, lower rear quarter
and new sill welded into place.

The car spent 9 months on it's side whilst i cut out most
of the box and floor sections, at the same time the driver's
side sill was cut off and replaced,it's the best time to do it
as it's under no strees when the car is on it's side

Underneith of car finished and in red-oxide.
The rear section of chassis rail was cut out and replaced,
the floor of the sparewheel well and the inner arch were
cut out and replaced.

The front panel was removed and replaced with a new
panel,
when it was clamped up, the bonnet was sitting 1/4 of an inch out of alignment, after carefull measurements
were taken i realised the driverside chassis rail was bent,
this was soon straightened by bolting the car to the floor and
attaching a block and tackle to the rail and garage wall and
pulling it where i needed it.

.Off to bodyshop after 2 1/2 years restoration.                 Bonnet louvred.
